The 2024 NFL Draft will be a hectic time for the Green Bay Packers. Due to their trade of Aaron Rodgers and Rasul Douglas, they have five picks through the first three rounds. With a youthful, inexperienced roster that shocked many with their playoff berth and victory against the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay doesn’t have many flaws in it.
They can bolster their roster through the draft and are ahead of schedule. There are three sleepers that are very desirable to pursue. They are Jaylen Wright of Tennessee, Tyler Nubin of Minnesota, and Graham Barton of Duke.
The Packers should be quite drawn to Graham Barton because of his versatility. Players that can play numerous offensive line positions have always been valued by Green Bay.
On the offensive line, Green Bay could potentially use some reinforcements. David Bakhtiari has been sidelined by injury, so they waived him earlier in the offseason to clear some cap space. The starting right guard for the Packers, Jon Runyan Jr., was also lost to the New York Giants in free agency.
Although Rasheed Walker excelled at left tackle for Green Bay in the latter part of the season, it never hurts to acquire more depth. The Packers should aim to upgrade at right guard, but they might also try to become better than Josh Myers at center. Barton would fit perfectly in in Green Bay and be able to play there straight away.
Tyler Nubin, Minnesota Safety
