After an incredible NFL season, Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard is celebrating another significant life milestone: he got engaged.
On March 29, Tayler Timmons, Bernard’s longterm girlfriend, announced on Instagram that the Bills player had proposed. Many of Timmons’ teammates and their significant others congratulated him when he posed with Bernard and she flashed her engagement ring.
Following Tremaine Edmunds’ departure, Bernard became the starting middle linebacker position for the Bills, where he finished with a career-best season and established himself as one of the best in the league at his position.
An Older Couple Is Going to Take the Aisle Walk
According to TMZ, Timmons and Bernard have been dating for almost ten years; they first became engaged in La Porte High School and later went to Baylor University.
Timmons stated on her Instagram page that she practices physical treatment, but she also spends a lot of time supporting her new fiancé by going to Bills games.
After the Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins in December 2022 to secure a postseason berth, the pair took a picture on the field together, and Timmons posted pictures from previous games while supporting him from the stands.Terrel Bernard’s Record-Setting Year
With one game started and 22 total tackles in his rookie campaign in 2022, Bernard played a smaller part.
As McDermott noted, taking over the role was a significant challenge, and Bernard performed admirably.
“What Terrel Bernard did, coming from where he came from—I mean, he began as a rookie, I believe, one game ago,” McDermott remarked.
It wasn’t even Mike’s linebacker position, the middle position he currently plays; that was Will’s linebacker position. But in addition to simply performing one’s duties, being a middle linebacker requires so much more, such as leadership.According to McDermott, Bernard stepped up to the plate and developed into a team leader very fast.
