Following the Lakers’ 136-124 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies last night, Rui Hachimura revealed the reasons behind his recent success in the Grizzlies’ home stadium.

“I won’t lie, I don’t really like this city. Here, I have always had wonderful memories. We had a fantastic playoff run the previous year, and I believe we return here the following week. We have to handle each one individually. Now that we are 5-0, we aim to win six straight.”
Hachimura also offered his thoughts on what the group must do to continue winning.

“Remain unified. We must speak with each other. Right now, communication is everything. We need to trust each other and communicate because it’s playoff season.”Following a 2OT victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, Hachimura scored 32 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in a game where the majority of the Lakers’ rotation was worn out. While D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves have put in a lot of minutes lately, Anthony Davis was rested for this photo after playing more than 50 minutes against the Bucks.
LeBron James did not have to endure playing the Bucks in double overtime since he was available for the Grizzlies game. The Lakers’ two victories in this game will be all that matters to them.

Hachimura joined the starting lineup in January of this year and has steadily earned a larger role on the Lakers throughout the season. With a 41-32 record, the Lakers are currently nine games above.500 and have risen from being below.500 to being among the most competitive teams in the NBA since that time.

LeBron James stated unequivocally that maintaining his health will come before playing through ailments in order to secure a higher seed during the season’s closing stretch.
For our ball club, health has always come first—not just for one person. However, seeing myself, I am aware of my foot, my injury, how it responds, and how it has changed over the past few years. I consistently maintain my health
