Still, they have areas to bolster, like OL depth, DB depth, DL depth, and additional LB and RB talent.
One overlooked area might be backup QB. Last season, when Stroud was sidelined, the backup options didn’t inspire much confidence. Tim Boyle’s recent signing adds depth, but it’s uncertain if he’s the solution. Considering the draft, even late-round picks could offer potential QB prospects, offering a cost-effective backup plan and continuity in case of future needs.
Candidates like Joe Milton, Sam Hartman, Kedon Slovis, and Taulia Tagovailoa present varying degrees of promise and risk. Waiting until post-draft UDFA signings is also an option, although less predictable. The goal isn’t to find a franchise QB but a dependable backup without breaking the bank.
