Today, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru are facing off against Sunrisers Hyderabad without key players Mohammed Siraj and Glenn Maxwell in their starting lineup. This match is critical for RCB, who are at risk of an early tournament exit after four consecutive losses.

At the toss, it was revealed that Siraj and Maxwell were not included in the starting eleven. While Siraj is listed as an Impact Player and could potentially play later, he will not participate initially as RCB is bowling first. Maxwell, on the other hand, is not in the 16-man squad at all for today’s game.

The absence of Siraj and Maxwell from the first team stems from their recent underperformance. Siraj has taken only four wickets in six matches with a high economy rate of over 10. Maxwell has struggled significantly with the bat, scoring just 32 runs in six innings at an average of slightly over 5, although he has taken four wickets.

With RCB currently at the bottom of the standings, both players will need to improve their performances if given another opportunity this season to help lift their team.
