The lone Opening Day game the Reds missed due to weather was 1966; there was snow on Opening Day in 1977 and hail, sleet, snow, and rain during one Opening Day game in 1985. We got three days of rain in a row that year, and Crosley Field was reduced to a swamp. The entire three-game home opener against the New York Mets was ruined by that.
