The Washington Wizards are heading to Chicago to face the Bulls for the second time in two weeks. Corey Kispert was the standout performer for Washington with 16 points, but the team struggled overall, with Kyle Kuzma having a quiet night and Jordan Poole shooting poorly at 33% from the field.
A major challenge for Washington in the last game against Chicago was containing guard Ayo Dosunmu, who scored 34 points and had a game-high plus/minus of +22. Heading into their next matchup, the Wizards will aim to limit Dosunmu’s offensive impact. Washington has also struggled with rebounding throughout the season, and Chicago’s Andre Drummond and Nikola Vucevic capitalized on this weakness, leading the Bulls to a 51-32 rebounding advantage. However, with Marvin Bagley III back from injury and Richaun Holmes in good form, the Wizards hope to improve their performance on the boards.
After securing wins against the Kings and Raptors, the Wizards are eager to achieve their first three-game winning streak of the season against the Bulls in Chicago.
