Standing at 6-foot-11 and weighing 250 pounds, Williams showcased notable statistics during his time with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the G League affiliate of the Miami Heat, this season. In 33 regular season games, including 24 starts, he averaged 11.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 23.2 minutes per game. His field goal percentage stood at .436, with a notable performance of scoring in double figures on 21 occasions, including a career-high of 29 points against the Maine Celtics on January 19th.
Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Williams did not get drafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. He spent the previous season playing for Anwil Wloclawek in the Polish OBL, where he posted averages of 8.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 17.7 minutes per game, shooting .445 from the field across 31 games, 18 of which he started.
Williams’ collegiate career was at Louisville, where he played for five seasons from 2017 to 2022. Over this time, he averaged 7.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 17.9 minutes per game, with a .444 shooting percentage across 123 games, including 62 starts.
