The Los Angeles Dodgers will seek to complete a three-game sweep of the Minnesota Twins in their series finale on Wednesday afternoon in Minneapolis. Los Angeles secured a 6-3 victory over the Twins on Tuesday night, following a 4-2 win in the series opener on Monday night. With these results, the Dodgers have now won 10 out of their first 14 games this season. They are now eyeing their second sweep of the season, having previously swept the San Francisco Giants in three consecutive games from April 1st to 3rd.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Twins are eager to secure a win in front of their home crowd. They have had a rough start at home, losing all four of their games, including two against the Cleveland Guardians before a rainout on Sunday and two more against the Dodgers. This home struggle comes as a surprise considering the Twins’ strong 47-34 home record at Target Field in 2023.

The Dodgers will send right-hander Bobby Miller to the mound for his third start of the season and the 25th of his career. Miller, with a record of 1-1 and an ERA of 5.87, looks to bounce back after a challenging outing against the Chicago Cubs. He aims to learn from his recent struggles and improve his performance, especially from the stretch. This will be Miller’s first time facing the Twins in his career.

On the other side, veteran right-hander Chris Paddack will make his second start of the season for the Twins. Paddack, who has undergone Tommy John surgery twice, expressed gratitude for another opportunity to prove himself after his season debut against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Twins infielder Austin Martin will aim to capitalize on his recent success, having achieved his first career hit with a double against the Dodgers on Tuesday night. Despite the loss, Martin appreciated the support from the fans, making it a memorable moment for him.

Following the series finale, the Twins will hit the road to face the Detroit Tigers, while the Dodgers will return home to take on the San Diego Padres.
