Stephen Curry delivered a strong performance with 22 points and eight assists, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 100-92 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday. The win boosts the Warriors’ hopes for securing the eighth position in the Western Conference standings.

Curry also grabbed seven rebounds, while teammates Jonathan Kuminga and Andrew Wiggins contributed 19 and 15 points, respectively.

With only two games remaining in the regular season, the Warriors are set to face the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Lakers, aiming to improve their position in the play-in tournament standings.

On the Trail Blazers’ side, Deandre Ayton stood out with 25 points and 11 rebounds, and Scoot Henderson added 18 points and 12 assists. However, the loss marked Portland’s 13th defeat in their last 15 games.

In other NBA action, the New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Sacramento Kings 135-123, with both CJ McCollum and Zion Williams scoring 31 points each. Elsewhere, the New York Knicks secured their third consecutive win, a 118-109 victory over the Boston Celtics, thanks to Jalen Brunson’s 39 points, keeping them just one game behind the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls overcame the Detroit Pistons 127-105, and the Utah Jazz narrowly beat the Houston Rockets 124-121.
