The Los Angeles Dodgers dominated the Toronto Blue Jays with a commanding 12-2 victory at Rogers Centre on Friday. Smith had an outstanding performance, going 4-for-5 with 3 runs, 3 RBIs, and a homer, marking his second consecutive game with four hits.

However, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts experienced an awkward moment when he attempted to congratulate Smith during the 9th inning. Despite putting his hand up for a high-five, Roberts was left hanging.

While Smith had a remarkable game, there was a slight disappointment as he only managed to hit a sacrifice fly against position-player Isiah Kiner-Falefa, who took the mound to close out the game. This resulted in a mildly embarrassing moment for Roberts.

Nevertheless, the Dodgers secured their fifth consecutive win, maintaining a 17-11 record after Friday’s triumph. This success should alleviate any concerns Roberts may have had about the game’s minor mishap.
