Letter to the Editor: Regarding the article titled “Stefon Diggs says goodbye to Buffalo Bills: ‘Four of the best years of my life’” by Ryan Talbot on April 3, 2024:

When I shared the news of the Stefon Diggs trade with my 8-year-old son, a devoted Bills fan, I had to reassure him that it wasn’t a prank for April Fools’ Day. He’s not yet old enough to sift through the online rumors surrounding Diggs’ alleged conflicts with the Bills’ management—and frankly, I’m not sure how much of it holds water.

His immediate concern hit the nail on the head: the trade poses a threat to quarterback Josh Allen, who now must search for a new go-to receiver, and it appears to be another offseason boon for the Houston Texans.

Witnessing Diggs achieve milestones like 1,000 career catches and 10,000 yards in a different team’s jersey will undoubtedly sting. I implore the Bills’ leadership to strive for better outcomes for fans of all ages, both young and old.
