ESPN’s Rich Cimini pointed out Washington’s Rome Odunze as a strong pick for the Jets at No. 10, citing his impressive production, speed, and resilience. Odunze’s credentials include being a team captain and All-American, leading the FBS in receiving yards last season, and playing through injuries like a broken rib and punctured lung without missing a game.
Cimini believes that if Odunze is still on the board at the tenth pick, the Jets should quickly select him. Given the Jets’ current roster, which features standout young receiver Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams who is on a brief one-year contract, Odunze could significantly enhance their receiving corps as a potential long-term partner for Wilson.
Notably, the Green Bay Packers have historically avoided selecting first-round offensive weapons for their star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
